A very interesting fact coming from an “Iwata Asks” feature about Mario and the NES. Many of you may know that Mario wasn’t the original name for the beloved plumber: There was Jump Man and Mr. Video. That is usually where the knowledge of the Mario name ends. It has been revealed that there was one more name before Jump man, Ossan, which means middle age man.
