Nintendo have released a trailer for the new mode coming to Mario Kart 8 later this month, namely the speedy 200cc mode.
The trailer compares a 150cc race on Pirahna Plant Pipeway with a 200cc race on the same circuit – and the difference is immediately and abundantly clear. The 200cc race is fast. Very fast, shaving about 10 seconds off a 150cc lap time.
The new mode comes courtesy of a free update, which will be released in just two short weeks on April 23, along with support for extra amiibos.
