Nintendo have finally announced a release date for their first foray into the mobile world, with Miitomo now set to launch on March 31 in the US, Europe and Australia.
It’s been a busy month for Miitomo, with the Japanese launch earlier this month followed by a mysterious disappearance of the “March” release date for the English version. With only a few days left of this month, we couldn’t wait much longer, and it’s a relief to learn that Miitomo will be here very soon.
The news was officially announced via Nintendo’s UK site, but the small print lists the US among the lucky countries to receive the app on this date. The March 31 date is now also visible on the official Miitomo English site.
Here’s the list of countries from Nintendo:
Miitomo will launch in the following countries in March: the UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, U.S., Canada. Preregistration is only available in these countries. Miitomo at launch will support the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Russian and Japanese.
