Mutant Mudds on the 3DS will receive free downloadable content next week, bringing it in line with the Deluxe Wii U version. This is particularly good news for PAL gamers, as the Deluxe edition has not been released in those territories yet.

The update comes with the following content:

  • 20 New Ghost Levels (originally released on Wii U) – Bringing total level count to 80.
  • Mid-level Checkpoints – Toggle on/off to suit your desire.
  • 4 Hidden Playable Dev. Team Characters.
  • New Ghostly Chip-tune Tracks.
