I honestly did not know anything about the Nano Assault franchise until I saw a trailer for the 3DS version of the game, which by the way is a fantastic game and severely under rated.  When I played Nano Assault for the 3DS I was instantly hooked.  Now Nano Assault is coming to the Wii U not as a retail title but rather as a downloadable game on Nintendo’s eShop.  It will feature the same fast paced gameplay that the franchise is known for.  The game will make use of the GamePad’s second screen to show a map of the environment and allow you to change your firing pattern on the fly.  Nano Assault is also shown, in the final seconds of the trailer below, as fully playable on the Wii U GamePad.
