Natsume has announced not one, but two new River City games for the 3DS. Even better, they’re both due for release in the US later this year.
The first title is Knights of Justice, a 3DS eShop release that’s due this summer. In this adventure, Kunio and his friends go medieval, transformed into heroes and villains. They’ll use swords, staves, and even magic to bring peace back to Riverandia.
Secondly comes River City: Rival Showdown, coming to 3DS retail this fall. This is a localisation of a previous Japanese release, known as Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari SP. Here, Kunio is attacked by two mysterious individuals, while Riki’s girlfriend has disappeared. Kunio has just 3 days to unravel the mystery in this fast-paced beat-’em-up RPG.
Both of these games will be playable at E3, so we’ll bring you more coverage during the event.
