It’s now a well-known fact that the New Nintendo 3DS systems are mysteriously appearing in the land Down Under well before the rest of the Western world – in fact, there’s no set release date for the US or Europe at this stage at all.

So while the rest of the world waits their turn, those fortunate enough to be purchasing the latest handheld from Nintendo next week might be interested to find out where the best prices can be found.

With that in mind, here’s a quick guide to the different retailers’ prices around Australia. including some online stores. The best price – for now – appears to be at Target, with other major retailers Big W and K-mart’s prices not yet available.
