Happy new year! Looking for something to sink your teeth into as you welcome 2024? Indie developer Atooi might just have you covered with the release of the simple-yet-addictive dungeon hopper, Knights of the Rogue Dungeon.
Knights of the Rogue Dungeon features a cube-based knight on a quest to cleanse the dungeons across six worlds. Environments vary with each run, comprising isometric cubes to hop on as you collect coins and avoid enemies. The goal is to jump on every cube within the level to move on to the next. Simple, right? It’s deceptively so, with short levels providing quick gameplay. Be warned: Atooi promises an addicting experience, with a strong “just one more go” element at play.
As your brave knight travels across the lands to cleanse the Rogue Dungeons, here’s what you can expect to find:
- Six uniquely themed dungeons, infested with enemies and traps: each more challenging than the last.
- Intuitive, responsive controls running at a silky smooth 60 frames per second.
- Varied cast of playable knights: including Sir Redmoor, Lady Steadfast, Max (MutantMudds™), and Skullahad.
- Upgrade Shop, featuring: extra lives, knight power increaser, Lucky Charms, invincible armors, death tax reducer, and devastating vanquish spells
The best part? This little title comes in at under $10. And, if you head to the eShop to pick it up before January 16, you’ll also even find a neat 10% discount waiting for you. Bonus!
