Today during Apple’s iPhone 7 event, Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto took the stage in order to announce a brand new mobile game, Super Mario Run, which is scheduled to release this holiday season.

Super Mario Run, as the title suggests, will be an endless runner game where Mario will constantly be moving to the right, and it’ll be up to the player to tap the touch screen to make Mario jump so he can defeat foes and clear obstacles. The longer you hold your finger on the touch screen, the longer Mario will jump for.

The game will also feature a battle mode that will let you duke it out against your friends. This mode, dubbed Toad Rally mode, will attract Toads to your own personal Mushroom Kingdom depending on how well you perform.
