New Splatoon Trailer Reveals Single-Player Campaign
Nintendo have released a new trailer and release timeframe for Wii U exclusive, Splatoon. The game, which was first announced during last June’s E3 conference, will be released in the second quarter of 2015.
The latest trailer, which made its debut during Wednesday’s Nintendo Direct, shows off a new single-player campaign mode. This is in addition to the four-on-four online multiplayer action previously revealed. The solo story sees you go up against an army of octopi equipped with ink weaponry of their own.
Splatoon is a fresh take on the third-person shooter genre, where your team use squid-like ink to color as much of the environment as possible, and prevent the same from their competition. The characters have the ability to morph into squid-like creatures to traverse through ink in your team’s colors.
