Nintendo and the Pokemon Company keep pouring on the love for their fans as we received another new trailer today, this time showing off a few version exclusive Pokemon.
First up is Passimian the teamwork Pokemon. Exclusive to Pokemon Sun, this fighting type comes with a brand new ability known as receiver. This ability allows Passimian to acquire the ability of a fainted ally Pokemon.
For Pokemon Moon, Oranguru, the sage Pokemon, is a normal/psychic type version exclusive. It can come with either the inner focus or telepathy ability. It has a new move called instruct, which can allow the targeted Pokemon to reuse a move that it had just used.
Rockruff’s evolution varies depending on what version of the game you play. In Pokemon Sun, it evolves into Lycanroc midday form, a rock type with keen eye or sand rush as an ability. In Moon, Lycanroc midnight form keeps its rock typing and looks much more sinister. It has the abilities keen eye and vital spirit to choose from.
Trainer customization is back in Sun and Moon, and it appears you’ll be able to purchase new clothes with a currency known as festival coins. You’ll be able to change your hair style and color, as well as the color of your eyes. With all of the style options at your disposal, it’s looking like the player will have much more freedom to change the way they look in-game.
A new feature called Pokemon Refresh allows you to groom and care for your Pokemon. While it looks incredibly similar to PokemonAmie, it’s still unclear if this will replace it.
Last but not least, both Pikachu and Evee receive their own exclusive Z moves. Pikachu’s is known as catastropika, and it looks to deal massive damage. Evee Z move, on the other hand, is called extre evoboost, and it raises all of Evee’s stats by two stages.
Now that we’ve gotten a look at a few of the version exclusives, have you changed or mind on which game you want to pick up when the games release on November 18th? What do you think about the new Z moves? Share your thoughts with us in the comments!
