SEGA has just announced a few more details about the NiGHTS characters that were shown in the latest screens:

  • The big revelation in the magazine are the identities of the two characters whose dreams will be infiltrated by Nights. Taking the place of Claris and Eliot from the original is another boy/girl pair, William Taylor and Helen Cartwright, both 12-years old.
  • William, known amongst friends as just Will, is an excellent student who also excels at soccer. He starts having nightmares when his father gets sent far away for work.
  • Helen has been learning violin from her mother since childhood. However, as she grows older, she’s started separating from both her violin and mother. She begins to see nightmares as a result of this seperation.
  • Both Helen and William live in and around the city of Belbridge, which is said to resemble a clock. Of course, the main game takes place in the dream world of Nightopia as the children meet Nights.

It’s not too much information to go on, but I’m hoping SEGA will show more about this game at E3!!  Hopefully, we’ll even get some videos of the game IN-ACTION!!
