Ever since the release period of ‘Winter 2007’ was announced for NiGHTS, many thought that could spell 2008 for Europe.  Now Sega has confirmed otherwise.  NiGHTS will be out before the end of the year in Europe:

SEGA Europe and SEGA of America today announced NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, the long awaited sequel to the critically-acclaimed NiGHTS franchise that gave gamers the freedom to fly in a world of dreams and imagination. NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams is being developed by SEGA Studios USA for Wii and is scheduled to be released winter 2007.

Nintendo has been giving fair attention to every region of the world recently, and I think that’s indicative of Nintendo’s success around the globe.
