You may or may not have noticed in Nintendo’s release date press release that Golden Sun: Dark Dawn is still missing from this year’s release schedule. We first saw Golden Sun last year at Nintendo’s E3 press conference, then again at this year’s E3. Nintendo has released a statement about the release of Golden Sun.

“(We have) not yet determined a specific launch date for Golden Sun: Dark Dawn for the Nintendo DS family of systems.” – Nintendo rep

“DS Family?” Could Golden Sun be coming to the 3Ds? Let’s start that little rumor.

Looks like the Japanese Nintendo channel has received a new promo video for Golden Sun. I still stand by my 3DS thought.

Nintendo has confirmed that Golden Sun: Dark Dawn will be coming out in Japan this year.
