This week marks the release of the first New 3DS exclusive with Xenoblade Chronicles 3D.   • KAMI (CIRCLE Entertainment, €2.99 / £2.39) – this game adopts a fill-the-screen-with-color premise (similar to Color Zen) – here you fold out colored paper and decide which ones to eliminate and the single one that shall remain. This clever and visually appealing paper-based puzzle title has a hand-crafted Japanese paper theme with 63 puzzles, and we were fans of the gameplay in our KAMI review.

New Nintendo 3DS Retail Download

  • Xenoblade Chronicles 3D (Nintendo, €44.99 / £39.99) – this is the first release exclusively made for the New 3DS to take advantage of its upgraded hardware. Originally released on the Wii in 2011 (2010 in Japan and 2012 in the US), this deep JRPG is now portable – a good thing for playing this 80+ hour game on the go. We were very impressed in our Xenoblade Chronicles 3D review, describing it as “an epic adventure that will satisfy the most avid RPG fans.”
