As another week begins it’s time to reveal the latest round of releases heading to the European eShop this Thursday. There’s a long list of games this week, including the adorable-looking Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World for 3DS, some great puzzle games, score-chasers, classic VC treats, DLC, discounts and more.

  • Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World (Nintendo, €39.99 / £34.99) – One of the cutest games ever makes it’s way from the Wii U to the 3DS, bringing with it new Poochy stages plus the ability to design your own Yarn Yoshi. Note: available from 3rd February.

  • Lifespeed (Wee Man Studios, €5.99 / £4.99) – a futuristic racer in which you fight for your planet in a race for survival. The tracks are located in four worlds across the galaxy, where you’ll race nine other racers with four difficulty modes and eleven playable characters.

  • Punch Club (tinyBuild Games, €9.99 / £8.99) – train your boxer to be the best as you uncover the details of your own father’s death. This management sim is full of pop culture references and humor.
  • Legna Tactica (KEMCO, €9.99 / £8.99) – another RPG making its way from smart devices to the 3DS, this one is a strategic RPG where you can shape the story, which features two boys with the same dream: the rid the world of war.

  • Star Splash: Shattered Star (Snails Animation, €3.49 / £2.99) – here you play the role of a brave dolphin who needs to save the Mother Star in a dramatic-sounding auto-runner, with more than 30 levels and a two player mode.
  • COLOR CUBES (RCMADIAX, €1.49 / £1.39) – this score-chasing game see you tapping to change the box colors, with your reflexes responding to the increasingly challenging levels.
  • BRICK RACE (RCMADIAX, €1.49 / £1.39) – another score chaser in which you race a chunky vehicle while avoiding crashes.

Wii U Virtual Console

  • Bomberman ’94 (Konami, €6.99 / £6.29) – hailing from the PC in 1993, this is a colorful entry in the series of maze-running, bomb-blasting mayhem, with single and multiplayer modes. This could be a good chance to become reacquainted with the series in anticipation of the upcoming Bomberman R for the Switch,
  • Gradius (Konami, $4.99) – a simple shooter than was integral in the evolution of the side-scrolling shooter genre, this was originally released on the NES in 1988 in Europe (1986 elsewhere).
