As another week begins we look forward to the next round of releases due to hit the eShop in Europe. The 3DS and Wii U library grows a little more each week, and this Thursday brings with it more Fire Emblem DLC, a new indie game, a classic SNES Virtual Console entry, and plenty of discounts.

New Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console

  • Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble (Nintendo, €5.59 / £4.99 until 9th June, then €7.99 / £7.19) – the third and final SNES entry in the platforming series was originally released in 1996.  This time the Kremlings have kidnapped both DK and Diddy Kong, leaving Dixie Kong and her cousin Kiddie Kong to rescue the pair.

3DS DLC

  • Fire Emblem Fates – Map 4: Ghostly Gold (Nintendo, €2.49 / £2.29 or part of map pack 1) – In Ghostly Gold, a good deed quickly turns hairy, but your generosity will be amply rewarded.
  • Fire Emblem Fates – Map 5: Museum Melee (Nintendo, €2.49 / £2.29 or part of map pack 1) – Museum Melee features an extraplanar collection of fine armaments. You can take a few of them home with you, provided you can beat the other challengers to the prize.
