Nintendo’s good news continues today, as president Satoru Iwata has announced his return to work after several months recovering from surgery. Iwata had a tumour removed last July but is now able to return to regular work duties.

The news comes amid the presentation of Nintendo’s positive quarterly and first-half financial results, which saw Wii U sales more than double in the last six months.

Iwata said that although he has lost weight, he is now feeling healthier. Let’s hope this double-dose of good news continues for the Big N as we move towards the holiday season.
