Nintendo Switch eShop now has PayPal payment option

Nintendo has added a new payment option to the Switch eShop. Now players will be able to use PayPal to add funds to their balance.

The new option is already available in Japan, the US and Europe, though doesn’t appear to be available in Australia at this time.

This option doesn’t affect the 3DS or Wii U eShops. Purchases through the Nintendo website, however, are payable through PayPal.
