Nintendo to release “Pure White” and “Clear Black” 3DS in Japan on Oct. 10th
Nintendo of Japan announced they will be releasing a new Pure White and Clear Black 3DS in Japan.
As pointed out by the source below. The new redesigned PS Vita will also release on Oct 10th.

October is my new favorite month, since I’m a die-hard Pokemon fan. You have not only Pokemon X/Y, but you also can get the new strategy guide, as well as the distributions for both the Torchic holding the Blazikenite, and the Shiny Giratina distribution. 2013 is shaping up to be a good year for Nintendo fans.
