Nintendo UK: More to announce about Wii U
“Well, I think we haven’t gone into a lot of detail. I mean, we’ve got 23 third-party games on display at the show. There’s certain aspects on the control pad that we’ve spoken about, but we haven’t really gone into a lot more detail of it because there’s so much to talk about as it is, I think we would overwhelm people.
I think that’s part of what I was talking about before, about there’s so many functions that the Wii U has, and it will show and explain to people why we have more features being explained as time goes on, because there’s a lot to take in all at once. The biggest thing we’ve found is when people pick it up and have hands-on experience, and they start understanding a lot more of the concepts and the features – so very much sampling and getting people to try the product will be a really big emphasis for us at retail events and things like that.” – UK managing director David Yarnton
I think hardware-wise we have seen pretty much everything about the Wii U. I am sure there will be a few games that will blow us away or interest us.

I for one like that they are explaining it little by little – I think just like the Wii, the best way to fully understand it is just to pick up and play. That being said, I can’t wait to see which titles they have been keeping up their sleeve.

@AdamBritten Yeah, same here. Hopefully it’s a nice steady flow. Iwata mentioned today that the games they showed at E3 were merely those that are planned for release at launch or the beginning of next year because companies can easily copy ideas, much like what we’ve been seeing with the Wii U (although microsoft’s smart glass is a futile attempt). Hopefully we’ll see games gradually announced each month so we have some good games to look forward to on the horizon. Can’t wait til it comes out though! Super excited!
