It’s the middle of a month, which means NPD has released the North American video game sales data for the previous month.

Looking at the month of May, total physical game related sales just surpassed $507.6 million – Down 13 percent from this time last year. But the good news, Splatoon only produced three days worth of sales data and still managed to land the fifth spot on the top ten selling software titles.
