UPDATE: Opera Browser Dated
Opera Software announced that they will be releasing a trial version of their web browser this coming Friday, December 22. They stipulate that it is a “trail version”, but I’m sure it’s pretty far along in development. Nintendo of Europe commented on the availability of the final version:
The final version of the Opera browser will be available at the end of March 2007, and will be free for all Wii owners to download through the end of June. After June 2007, the browser will be available for download in the Wii Shop Channel for 500 Wii Points.

UPDATE: Nintendo of America has made a press release available confirming the December 22nd date. They also refer to this version of the Opera browser as a “beta version.”
