LOS ANGELES, NEW YORK — The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) have announced nominations for outstanding achievement in videogame writing during the past year. The winner of this year’s WGA’s Videogame Writing Award, which recognizes writers as a major creative force in today’s burgeoning gaming industry, will be announced at the upcoming 2010 Writers Guild Awards to be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York.

Nintendo and Target Help People Keep Their New Year’s Resolutions with Wii Fit Plus
Nintendo and Target have teamed up to give people a fun and invigorating way to keep their New Year’s resolutions. On weekends from Jan. 16-31, shoppers who visit select Target stores nationwide will encounter the Wii Fit™ Plus Experience in the parking lot or at the entrances of the stores. Each location will feature eight kiosks where visitors can get some “feet-on” time with the Wii Fit Plus software in an atmosphere reminiscent of a yoga studio.
