Cambridge, Mass. – Dec. 11, 2009 – Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that a three pack of songs from Green Day, as well as tracks from 30 Seconds to Mars and All-American Rejects, will be added next week to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Wii™.
These artists are some of the more than 390 bands currently available through the Rock Band platform. With more than 1,000 songs available, Rock Band is, without question, the industry leader in providing the best selection of interactive musical content, songs and artists.
New York – Dec. 11, 2009 – Apple Corps, Ltd., MTV Games and Harmonix, the world’s leading developer of music-based games and a part of Viacom’s MTV Networks (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), today announced The Beatles’ album Rubber Soul (1965) will be available in its entirety for purchase and playable as downloadable content in The Beatles™: Rock Band™ Music Store beginning Dec. 15, 2009.
Rubber Soul is the third album from The Beatles to appear in The Beatles: Rock Band Music Store since the video game’s launch Sept. 9, 2009. Previously Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967) was released in the Music Store on Nov. 17, and Abbey Road (1969) on Oct. 20.
