When festival goers flock to this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival, they’ll have a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with a remarkable newcomer in hand-held entertainment. Appearing July 17-19 at the festival’s site at Union Park on Chicago’s Near West Side, the Nintendo DSi™ Mobile Tour invites consumers to board an interactive tour bus loaded with portable Nintendo DSi systems and software. Visitors and spectators can experience the unique features and creative fun of Nintendo DSi. With help from on-site Nintendo ambassadors, consumers can use Nintendo DSi to take and manipulate photos, tweak sound recordings and enjoy a wide variety of games. Visitors can print their original souvenir photos on the bus or store them online and download them from home.

Ubisoft searches for Waldo in upcoming video game

SAN FRANCISCO – July 16, 2009 – Today Ubisoft announces it will bring publishing phenomenon Where’s Waldo?® to life in a new interactive adventure video game titled “Where’s Waldo?® The Fantastic Journey.” Created by Ludia Inc., “Where’s Waldo? The Fantastic Journey” is an original interactive adventure for the whole family, as players scour the virtual globe in search of Waldo, his friends and other hidden objects. The game will be available for the Wii(TM) system from Nintendo, the Nintendo DS(TM) system, Windows-based PC and Mac and sold at North American retailers in September 2009.
