Entertainment Software Industry Takes Center Stage as E3 Expo 2009 Kicks Off

Washington, DC – May 28, 2009 – The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has confirmed today that over 200 leading-edge computer, technology and video game publishers and developers will be exhibiting at this year’s E3 Expo. The 2009 E3 Expo will take place June 2-4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) and is a trade-only event that will not be open to the general public.

“This year’s E3 Expo has garnered overwhelming support from members, exhibitors, attendees and media. We anticipate a blockbuster show fully-loaded with industry news, unveilings, introductions and announcements that will continue to drive our industry forward,” said Michael D. Gallagher, president and CEO of the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). The ESA is the trade association that represents the U.S. computer and video game publishers and owns the E3 Expo.

Early registration has closed; however, attendees and media interested in attending the show can still register at the E3 Expo Web site (www.e3expo.com) or in-person at the LACC. For further information on credentialing requirements, please check the E3 Expo Web site.

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing

EVERYBODY’S Super Sonic Racing… or they soon will be. We’ve just announced a new title coming to PS3, 360, Wii and DS in 2010 – Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing. Check out the trailer:

In a frantic battle to the chequered flag, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing sees Sonic and friends speed around tracks set in mediaeval castle ramparts, lush rainforests and bustling cities, all taken from the visually rich and varied universes of Sonic and SEGA. Fan favourites such as Dr. Eggman, Tails, AiAi, Amigo and many more will join Sonic in their custom built vehicles, revving their engines and jostling to stay ahead of the pack. Each character will race around the track in cars, planes, motorbikes, and in AiAi’s case – a banana mobile! Secret short cuts, swift handling and avoiding strategically placed obstacles are certainly the best way to get to the top of the podium.

NATSUME REVEALS E3 LINEUP

All-New Harvest Moon Games, Afrika, Cheer We Go! Among Titles to Appear
At Show Next Week

Burlingame, Calif., May 28, 2009 – Natsume Inc., a worldwide developer
and publisher of family-oriented video games, today announced their
lineup for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), which begins next
week, Tuesday, June 2, and runs through Thursday, June 4.  The company
will be holding one-on-one meetings in booth 848 in South Hall at the
show with select media representatives. The previously unannounced
titles include Cheer We Go and Squishy Tank for the Nintendo DS, as
well as Afrika for the PlayStation 3, and Harvest Moon: My Little Shop
for Nintendo WiiWare. Other previously announced titles include
Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, Animal Kingdom: Wildlife Expedition and
Reel Fishing: Angler’s Dream for the Wii, Harvest Moon: Sunshine
Islands and Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming for the DS, and Adventures
To Go for the PSP.  All the titles showcased will be shipping in 2009.
