Play Nintendo Tour 2014 Kicks off on June 6 in Los Angeles
Nintendo of America’s Play Nintendo Tour will begin this weekend in Los Angeles. The handheld tour will then travel across the US to visit another 11 cities over the next three months.
Fans will be able to play a selection of games on the Nintendo 2DS in a gigantic video game playground. The playground includes themed gaming zones with banana and egg-shaped seats, and guests can race against each other in the designated Mario Kart 7 booth.
Games scheduled for the tour include:
- Kirby Triple Deluxe
- Yoshi’s New Island
- Pokémon X and Pokémon Y
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
- Super Mario 3D Land
- Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
- Mario Kart 7
Some special guests will also make an appearance, with Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong and Kirby coming along to greet fans.
And for those who win their races, they will be able to display their racing skills in Mario Kart 8 on a giant HD TV screen.
