Update:  This is it!  88 Days have come and gone, and now it is time to announce the winners of our largest contest yet, “Around the World of Wii Fit U in 88 Days”!  Congratulations to all our winners, and a special thank you to everyone who participated!

To kick off the New Year, PureNintendo.com and PNM are holding a new contest, “Around the World of Wii Fit U in 88 Days”.  As you saw in the video above, the contest starts today, and goes on until April 2 2014.  Every 22 days, I will be submitting a new video detailing who is in the lead, so if you want to be in the next video, you will have to give me a progress report by midnight PST on the previous Wednesday.  The submission dates are below:

  • Day 22 Submission – Sunday, 26 January 2014
  • Day 44 Submission – Wednesday, 19 February 2014
  • Day 66 Submission – Wednesday, 12 March 2014
  • Day 88 Submission – Friday, 4 April 2014

Photo submissions must be in by midnight of the dates listed above.  You do not need to submit for the first three videos in order to be considered for the contest; only the final date.  If you want to be mentioned in the video updates, then you must submit photos by midnight PST on the dates listed above along with the name you want us to say on the video.  You can start on this contest at any time between now and the final submission date.  Just be sure to put in the subject line “88 Days”, and say that you are entering the contest.  Once entered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

What kind of photo will we be looking for?

As you probably can guess, we really need to see the milage counter, so we’ll need to see a photo that looks something like this:

About these Video Updates…

Every 22 days, we will be putting up a small video showing who is ahead in the race.  Some of the PNM staff will be joining in this race, so you will be able to see their progress as well (don’t worry, they can’t win any of the prizes, they’re just in this for fun).

What kind of prizes are we talking about here?

Besides a clean bill of health, we are giving away prizes to the top three winners of this contest.  Third prize will get a P-Wing Pin and Pure Nintendo T-Shirt.  Second prize will be a P-Wing Pin, Pure Nintendo T-Shirt, and a 1-year physical subscription to PNM.  Finally, first prize will be a P-Wing Pin, 1-year physical and digital subscription to PNM, and a Limited-Edition Pure-Nintendo E3 2013 T-Shirt.
