As the week draws to a close, we take a deep breath and reflect on the games that got us through the last 7 days. We love our gaming, even when we’re pressed for time, and we like to mix it up, so you’ll see quite a few interesting titles below, both old and new.
Here’s what we’ve been preoccupied with – what’s on your playlist this week?

Super Smash Bros (Wii U/3DS) – Had to play as Mewtwo this week even if it was only for a few matches. That’s about all I’ve played this week but I’m really excited for the Mario Kart 8 DLC and 200cc mode next week!.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (SNES) – Haven’t played much this past week, but my main game is a great one. An SNES classic (and Pure Nintendo favorite) Super Mario RPG is a title I was long overdue to revisit. I’m about halfway through, and enjoying the gameplay and nostalgic memories.

Ultimate Angler and Battleground Z (3DS) – I can tell I’m going to be obsessed with these new street pass games for awhile. I’m a sucker for fishing mini games, so I’m really enjoying Ultimate Angler.

The Mysterious Murasame Castle – This was my choice from club Nintendo as I only reached gold status this year. I chose it after reading an article where Sakurai said he wanted the main character of this game to be a playable fighter in smash. Turns out, it’s a really fun game that has you running around a maze-like ancient Japan, and entering castles to defeat demons zelda style. Thanks for the recommendation Mr. Sakurai!

- Xenoblade Chronices (Wii) – I’m sure you’ve noticed a trend by now, folks. Just wrapped up one of the most satisfying boss fights I’ve had in a long time.

- Earthbound (Wii U) – Earthbound: I have pretty much stopped playing every other game besides Earthbound. It is so enthralling and a tad addictive if I do say so myself. I’m now on my way to Fourside town, Paula and Jeff have also joined my party. The mission for world peace is going pretty swell :)
- Super Smash Bros (Wii U): I’ve been playing this a bit when I don’t have time for Earthbound. I really enjoy taking whacky screenshots and posting them online. Plus, like everyone else I had to play a few rounds as Mewtwo, who is pretty awesome by the way.

- Pokémon Shuffle (3DS) – In a very busy week for me, this is literally the only game I’ve had time for! Hopefully the weekend will change things, but I did make some significant progress in this game during the week, capturing a lot more Pokémon. Like Justin, I’m very excited about the upcoming Mario Kart DLC :)

As of now I have played Pokemon Shuffle, Tomodachi lif e(3ds), Golden Sun (Wii U VC) I have not played The Mysterious Murasame Castle, I got Pushmo World with my Club Nintendo reward. I wish I would have tried it though.
I understand being busy some days all I get to play is a round or two of Pokemon Shuffle. I have a job interview Monday so hopefully I get it and free up some time.

1. This week I hit HR100 in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. I’ve also finished the Nibelsnarf X armor which I was able to enable Handicraft on with the help of a +4 OO talisman.
2. I’ve been having diving into the new StreetPass games.I completed Find Mii and the four expansion games ages ago, so it is nice to get some use out of my MiiPlaza beside puzzle pieces when a new puzzle is released.

Thanks for the Good luck. I guess I should too state that I have been using the street pass games, but only Find Mii and the puzzle swap. I am never looked into the other ones.

I want to get back into playing Captain Toad, but right now I am loving re-playing Golden Sun. Thanks for the wish of luck. I think it went well.
