While Nintendo had announced that Pokemon Bank would be updated to work with the latest generation of Pokemon games, Sun and Moon, sometime in January, fans have been patiently waiting for the chance to transfer their beloved pocket monsters over.
The wait is now over, however, as the Pokemon Company has announced via its Twitter page that Pokemon Bank is now officially compatible with Sun and Moon, and the ability to transfer Pokemon from the Red, Blue, and Yellow versions on the virtual console is available as well. For more info on how Pokemon Bank works, be sure to check out the official Pokemon website.
What’s more, Pokemon Bank subscribers can nab a special Mewnium Z crystal, which will unlock a special Z move for Mew. Fans have until October 2, 2017 to acquire this special gift.
Now that Pokemon Bank is updated, will you be catching them all in the Alola region? Let us hear your thoughts below!
