Today the Pokemon Company announces a new four-part animated series entitled ‘Pokémon Origins.’  The series tells the story of the very first Pokemon video games, Pokemon Red and Blue. The series will chronicle the first steps of the hero as he leaves Professors Oaks’ Laboratory, encounters Team Rocket, and battles his rival.

The first episode of the four-part series will air November 15th, with the last three episodes added days after the premiere. The series can be seen at the official Pokemon TV site and the Pokemon TV iOS and Android apps.
