In their opening statements about Pokemon X and Y, Nintendo has announced a new Pokemon Type, “Fairy”.  This means that, the newest evolved form of Eevee, Sylveon, is put under this type.

 

Marrill, Gardevoir, and Jigglypuff are also placed under this new type.
