If you fallow the site you will know that I am not a big fan of GameStop trade-in deals. Every so often a decent deal comes along but that is every couple blue moons. A company called Guzu was brought to my attention that offers fair deals for those consumer electronics in their attempt to make the world a greener place.

Here is what Guzu has to say about them.

We are working to develop new ways to recycle electronics and our mission is to help reduce the US Carbon footprint while doing so. We need your help! Don’t shelve your products when you may be able to get great value on your products with us. Here at Guzu, we’re not just interested in your working gadgets, but also your broken ones. We want you, the consumer, to understand the worth of your used products by offering you the best value on the web for all of your broken items!

Guzu, which has a slogan of “Go Green Get Green”, offers a fair amount of cash for consumers broken or working electronics.  If you have a Wii sitting around, and no one to buy it, Guzu will offer you $40 for one working and $18 for one that needs some love.

Guzu offers more than just a service for gaming electronics; services for PC, Sony, LG and Apple products, just to name a few. One of the best deals I found was for the iPhone 4 which will net you $241 if it is working and $75 if not. (16 and 32 gig)

You may be able to find better deals for your electronics on an online auction site but for those looking for a quick dollar, with out the hassle of dealing with online auction, Guzu is something to look into. The steps are simple to making money on your electronics; Type your item into Guzu’s search, select the condition of your item, sign up for a Guzu account (if you have not already) then Guzu will send you an email with  a pre-paid packing slip. Ones Guzu received the items they will send you a check or transfer the funds into a pay-pal account.
