Pure Nintendo Announces The Iconic Four Games To Be Played During 48 Hour Marathon
December 30 2010: Pure Nintendo announces the four games to be played during their live-streamed video game marathon charity event, for Child’s Play, on January 14th-16th. The second annual event, entitled Nintendo Icons, consists of playing four games related to iconic Nintendo characters including Samus Aran, Kirby, Donkey Kong, and Link. This year’s games have been listed below.
Metroid: Other M – Released August 31, 2010: An action-adventure game created by the staff of Nintendo and Team Ninja.
Kirby’s Epic Yarn – Released October 17th, 2010: First home console Kirby game since 2000’s Kirby 64: The Crystals Shards.
Donkey Kong Country Returns – Released November 21st, 2010: First Donkey Kong Country game since the Super Nintendo days.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker – Released March 24th 2003: The one game that defeated the Pure Nintendo crew last year which left it unfinished. Excitement rises as the crew is ready to defeat this game.
The Nintendo Icons charity event will be live streamed on https://purenintendo.com/charity starting at 7 pm on January 14th. You will be able to donate straight to Child’s Play yourself by a ChipIn account provided on the page. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go directly to Child’s Play, no money will be handled by Pure Nintendo.
