E3 2011 is just 2 weeks away!!!! Ok with that out of my system it is now time for me to let you all in to what Pure Nintendo has planed for E3 2011.

Each year that we have attended E3, we have learned the hard-way about covering the biggest gaming event of the year. Each year we become wiser to what we can and cannot do. This year is turning out to be one of our biggest and well-planed E3 coverage’s that Pure Nintendo has ever done.

Let me first introduce you to the newest member of Pure Nintendo, Leonel Macias. Leonel is a good friend of myself; he is a gaming fan, and a professional photographer. This year you can expect crisp beautiful pictures of E3 events. Which is a lot better then we had last year.

One reason Leonel is going is to take the place of Eli who has gone with us the last two years. Never fear, Eli will still be around covering the site while we walk the show floor. With Eli at home base we will be able to provide you with the quickest information from E3. We will be shooting some HD video from our iPhones and uploading them to YouTube for Eli to post up. This will help get video to you guys as fast as possible. (Like of the Wii successor)

This year we decided to cut out most of the booth tours. To let you into a little behind the scenes of E3, booth tours are almost pointless. Now lets not confuse booth tours with meetings. Meetings you are in a small room, normally with a game developer, while he/she shows and talk about a game.  In a booth tour, you are guided around the booth and shown games that are sitting on the show floor.  To help free up more time we will be cutting out most of the booth tours, but not meetings.

We will use this extra free time to shoot more video. We are planning on having a daily video tour of some of the booths and games at E3. Last year we ran into some big Internet issues which limited our ability to upload our video. This year we THINK we have it all figured out.

Also, I would like to announce a Pure Nintendo special. During E3 2011 we will be shooting a little documentary that will show behinds the scenes at E3 2011. This video will take you on a short tour of what goes into covering the biggest gaming conference in the world. We are planning on having this video done about 2-3 weeks after E3 ends.

At the end of everyday, Monday through Thursday (maybe Sunday) we will be having our normal video podcast to wrap up the days events and talk about what we expect for the next day. These videos will be embedded on the site after completion for those who missed the live stream. We will also be live blogging all of the press conferences; Ubisoft, EA, Nintendo. We now have Cover-it-live on our iPhones, which will make it a lot easier to post video and pictures to the live coverage.

I hope everyone is as excited as we are for E3 year. I will go on record to say this may be the biggest E3 we have seen in a while. That is why we are trying to give you the best coverage as possible for the event. If it were not for all of you we would not be going.  All of our hard work is our way of giving back and saying think you.
