This week on the Pure Nintendo Podcast, Jemma, Trev, and Kirk disucss the latest games from the Summer Games Fest, along with the Homebrew Games Summer Showcase.

Last week, we were playing Star Wars: Hunters. This week, we celebrate ten years of amiibo, which was first announced at E3 in 2014. Jemma’s collection has grown to over 100 now, and we talk about some of our favorites and what we’d like to see next.

We look at some interesting news items, including someone smuggling Switch carts and someone else selling revamped NES games. This sparks an in-depth discussion about the industry, among other things.

We’re also playing a few interesting games this week, including TP Bullet and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The former is a puzzle platformer – check out Jemma’s TP Bullet review – while the latter features over 100 warriors ro choose between as you battle your way. Kirk’s review of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes reveals the full story.
