Review: Faceez
Faceez is a DSiware game created by Neko entertainment which uses every aspect of the Nintendo DSi. Faceez is a simple game, you take pictures of yourself, animate it and dress them up, to share them with friends.
Before you can create your very own Faceez, you will need to take a picture. You will need to line your face up with the on screen guide; this will give you the best result with your Faceez. Once this is done, feel free to change your faceez around; add a noise, a long beard, or a top hat. You can also add animation to your faceez; make it act surprised, walk, run, do a back flip, and so much more. The last step it to add a background for your Faceez to live in. You can choose one of the generic backgrounds or use your DSi camera to take one for yourself. After you are satisfied, or just completely freaked out by your creation, you can share your faceez with a friend by sending it to Facebook our sharing between DSi’s.
The Positives
- Cheap, only 200 DSi points.
- Little kids absolutely love it.
- Fun to share with friends.
- Girlfriends think it’s cute
The Negatives
- A little confusing on how to share pictures. Even after I did it once, I still wasn’t to sure how to do it again.
- Really not much replay value for older gamers. (Once again kids love it.)
If you are looking for a cheap DSiware game to help show off what the DSi can do, Faceez is the game for you. If you are looking for a game to challenge you and keep your attention for long periods of time, Faceez is not for you.
I give Faceez a 2.5 out of 5.
