Ends Midnight Tonight – Purenintendo Contest: Win Dementium 2 (Stuck To Top, New Post Below)
With news entering the pre-E3 low I have come to give you a reason to love us again. South Peak was kind enough to send us over two copies of Dementium 2 for a contest. Unlike our last contest, where the prize was distributed by a third party which held onto the prizes for a long time, I actually have the two copies in my hand. (Check picture above) Once the winners are announced, the games will be sent out within the next 2 days.
You are probably wondering how you win these great games. Well my friends its fairly simple. In the comments tell us the story of when you where most scared playing a video game. Was it sneaking through the castle in Resident Evil 4 or the first time you entered Bowser castle when you where a kid? No matter what game it is let us know your story. At the end of May 30th (Midnight) I will take all the entries names into a hat and randomly select the winners. Make sure you check out the rules below.
Rules:
- Must be at least 18 years of age. (Mature Game)
- Must have a shipping address in America. (sorry can’t afford to ship over the sea)
- Only one submission per person.
- Keep it kosher. Violators submissions will be tossed.
- Most be registered with Purenintendo.com

the time I was most scared was actually during Dementium: The Ward. I played thru the entire game only at night (after 10pm) and with headphones at max. The game had me on edge from the title screen on, but what scared me most was when I faced one enemy… The screaming heads. I walked thru the double doors that lead to the glass hallway that connected the east and west buildings. Once thru the doors I was faced with a head right in the middle of my screen. It didn’t move, it just looked at me. Now that was creepy enough. As I stared it down, I wondered, “What’s that?” Suddenly it screamed in my face and charged. I jumped, ripped my earbuds out of my ears, and closed my DS in one move. I felt the chills down my back and my heart beating hard. It still remains the most scary thing in the game to me.

@Dmshocker – I am sorry for that, its out of our hands. We have been contacting them every week since the contest ended and they give me the same line “we are working on it.” For Dementium 2, we remove the 3rd party and the games are in my hands. I promise to get them out with in 2 days after the end of the contest.
Once again sorry for the T-Shirt delay. We are just as disappointed as you are.

Way back when the first Resident Evil came out. Don’t know if the zombies or the the voice acting was more horrifying. I was really little, so just about anything scared me though.

Mortal Kombat used to freak me out as a kid. It was like a dirty little secret though, my parents wouldn’t like me playing it.

My scariest videogame moment would have to be playing the original Doom. It wasn’t the monsters that got me, it was the music. To this day, when I get to E1M8, I have to play with the sound off.

my scariest video game moment was when i played eternal darkness for gamecube….. that game honestly freaked me out…. it played with me mentally and didn’t have a “cheap scare effect”
……and I am still waiting for my shirt as well lol!!!

I was over my Aunt’s house and it was late.My cousin asked me did I want to play Nazi Zombies.I didn’t know what it was so I said yes. Then he turned the lights off and turned on surroundsound to give it a more real feeling. We played the game and it sounded like real gunshots right in the house and to make things worst the zombies would jump out of nowhere and scare me really bad.It was so scary I had to go to bed but as I was running up the stairs I tripped but I didn’t get hurt,I was just scared.Games with the lights off is a bad idea.

For me, it was when I was playing the Resident Evil remake on the GameCube.
When I purchased the game, I put a sheet over the window; so even when I was playing the game during the day it was darker than it should have been.
I remember playing through the shark tank level(Neptune), and when I approached a certain shark that wasn’t moving…when it “jumped”, I probably jumped 2-feet in the air and screamed at the same time.
