I guess it’s the idea that counts here since I’m sure this amount being paid is pocket change for the big N.

It has been ruled that the Australian provider of the R4, GadgetGear, has been ordered to pay Nintendo $620,000 AUS. ($556,822 US dollars) and destroy their remaining stock. The R4 card has been used to copy and pirate Nintendo DS games. As of now, GadgetGear has not commented on this situation.
