Rusty’s Real Deal Baseball Coming in April
A unique announcement in this Nintendo Direct, Rusty’s Real Deal Baseball, is a game that is based around what Iwata describes as “good-feelings”. Rusty’s Real Deal Baseball features a series of mini-games that revolve around pitching, hitting, and making pitching calls.
Perhaps the most interesting part of the game is the haggle system. Rusty’s Real Deal Baseball will be free, but only contains demos of games for purchase. This is done under the pre-text that the shack owner, Rusty, needs to feed his 10 puppies. While the game features in-game purchasing, you will be able to negotiate-down the real-world price you pay for the mini-game. Strategies include gifts and improving Rusty’s mood. How far-down you can negotiate the price is something that is not known to us at the moment.
Rusty’s Real Deal Baseball will be released on the 3DS and 2DS eShop this April.

That ability to haggle for a video game price is really innovative.

I wonder how hard it is to haggle the price down and how low it actually goes.
