ALTHEA
Althea is a girl who is training under the Brilliant Witch, Dia, in order to become a Witch. She meets Roland when she goes to hand deliver a document to Queen Sophia, as ordered by Dia.

LUNA
The Tide Witch is as ever changing as the ebb and flow of the sea. One moment she is serious, and the next she’s completely laid back. She loves water and teaching runeolingustics in almost equal amounts. If her friends are down, she’ll try and cheer them up by offering them good water.

PIP
Pip is an earnest, sincere kid who is training to become a Wizard. He’s timid in front of his sister, Pop, who has unfortunately taken advantage of Pip’s reserved nature and forces Pip to do all the cooking and cleaning in the house. Even though he’s young, Pip’s always trying to make a good impression on the fairer sex, and will do whatever it takes to make them comfortable.P

The Presidential Candidates And Their View On Video Games Part 2

By  •  October 28, 2008

With a week until the presidential election, I thought it was about time to get to my second part of this piece I call; “The Presidential Candidates and their View on Video games.” In the first part of this piece, (See HERE) I covered the views of Presidential hopeful Barack Obama. Now in part two, I will cover John McCain. Before I go on just wanted to remind you that I gave both campaigns plenty of time and opportunity to state for themselves what their stands on video games. I have brought it on myself to find as much quotes and info so I can properly get an idea of their views.

McCain has not said much about on the topic of video games. What he has said strongly opposes what Obama had to say. This was taken from a fellow blogger’s question to John McCain.

Activision publishing unveils star-studded TV ads promotiong the highly anticipate Guitar Hero World Tour launch

By  •  October 24, 2008

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Oct. 24, 2008 – Activision Publishing, Inc.’s (Nasdaq: ATVI) Guitar Hero® is putting famous fans front and center in its television ads for the October 26 release of Guitar Hero® World Tour, the latest installment in the #1 best-selling video game franchise of 2007. Paying tribute to the famous lip- and guitar-syncing scene that appeared in the popular film “Risky Business,” each ad will highlight different celebrities jamming on instruments from Guitar Hero World Tour to the song “Old Time Rock and Roll,” performed by Bob Seger.

The first commercial, which debuts today, features Kobe Bryant rocking the mic, Alex Rodriguez and Michael Phelps dancing while ripping it up on the exhilarating new guitars, and Tony Hawk sliding in on a skateboard to play the drums. The new commercials are an extension of the “Risky Business”-inspired Guitar Hero ads starring American Idol season seven-winner David Cook and runner-up David Archuletta that aired during the American Idol season finale on May 21, 2008. Brett Ratner (Brett Ratner Brands), who directed the American Idol contestants in the earlier Guitar Hero spots, is back on board to inspire others to unleash their inner rock star. The commercials were produced by advertising agency DDB and H.S.I. Productions.
