SEGA talks “Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed” sales and future Nintendo games
Yesterday SEGA released their yearly financial report which showed some decent sales for their only Wii U title. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed sold 310,000 copies. While the 3DS version sold 190,000. This makes Sonic Racing SEGA’s biggest seller for this past fiscal year with 1.36 million.
SEGA also announced they have seven Wii U titles planned for this next fiscal year. As of right now SEGA hasn’t announced any Nintendo titles for E3 but we can rest assure there will be some. Make sure you check back with Pure Nintendo during E3 while we visit SEGA and all other booths during the show.

Nice to read a story of a 3rd party having success with Nintendo … and with an original title no less! When I get a Wii U, Sonic Racing will be one of the first games I get. I enjoyed the 3DS version, but technical hiccups did dampen the fun for me … I’m sure the Wii U version handles it much more smoothly.

Sonic Racing on Wii U is a lot of fun but I do have one recommendation. When you play, use the GamePad or Wii U Pro Controller because the handling when using the Wii Remote are horrendous. The controls are fine while using the Wii Remote but it is almost impossible to handle during flight mode.
