Sega’s 3DS Poochi the Robotic Dog Game and Toy in Japan
Sega is releasing a new peripheral for the 3DS in Japan, this one a little more unique in its robotic concept.
Poochi the Robotic Dog is an interactive robotic toy that communicates with you through an application on your 3DS. The application can translate barks into Japanese and provide an interface with the toy so so you can play rock-paper-scissors together (of course). The robot can even sing a robotic-sounding tune, or tell you its mood through the color of its face.
The interactive toy is set to be priced at around $58. Check out the trailer below and let us know if you’d be willing to give this little dog a home if it was available in your territory.

This looks very similar to Activision’s Wappydog.

Holy shit, I just looked it up and it has the exact same design minus some minor cosmetics. Wow, that’s bizarre.
