Smash Brothers Director Wonders: Wheres The New Characters?
It’s an incredible number of characters and a group of really well-known series. And to think that they all had their beginnings in Japan…wow!
When they’re all lined up like this, it becomes obvious that there is roughly 6-year blank before and after Pikmin. While there have been big series since then like “Animal Crossing,” “Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day,” and “Wii Sports” it does seem that coming up with a completely new character-driven series has gotten more difficult recently.

Hmm, he does bring up a good point. There has not been any new Nintendo Characters introduced since the Pikmin and Olimar. I wonder, if any, what new Characters and games Nintendo has up their sleeves?

heres what they need to do, put mgs4 on the wii….and maybe think about making more hardcore type games. And besides, according to this website, a while back, Nintnedo’s working on a “black sheep” game called Disaster. Remember!

Why did you have to bring Disaster up, i am really looking forward to that game!! I am pretty up-set the we have not heard, seen, anything about this game for a very long time. Heres hoping for an E3 announcement. But is Disaster going to be the next big thing for Nintendo? It will be a great game, but will it bring in another “Mascot” character that everyone loves, like Pikimen did with Olimar?

they should have put Travis Touchdown in the game. No More Heroes was a verrryyy sweet Wii exclusive title so he should have at least been an asist trophy.
