Sonic Classic Collection Coming to the DS
Looks like SEGA is re-re-releasing the early Sonic games for the DS in the form of ‘Sonic Classic Collection’. The game will include Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3 and Sonic & Knuckles, and will also feature a ‘save anywhere’ feature. The game is scheduled for a March 2010 release.

Not that this doesn’t sound like a cool thing (I mean, I’ll get excited for Sonic 3&K on DS) but wow… how many times are they going to re-release stuff, man?

Yeah, it’s pretty ridiculous :/ But I guess they really haven’t developed a compelling Sonic game since the originals, so maybe they figure this is better than trying to reinvigorate the franchise? Who knows… All I can say is: What happened to you Sega? You used to be cool..

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Last great game they made. Does anyone else think that when Sonic was in Brawl you kind of felt like that feeling of OMG! NO F****** WAY! would have been so much stronger in Melee than it was for you in Brawl? I mean sure it was awesome to see him in Brawl but don’t you feel like it would have been more awesomer for him to have made it in melee. I do. Just cause after a certain point Sonic got, meh. And then Brawl came out =/

Yeah, that’s true, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was pretty amazing! I played that a ton on my Gamecube! And Sonic Rush wasn’t bad since it was basically using the 2D side-scrolling gameplay which people love. They need to go back to basics with Sonic, and from what I hear about ‘Project Needlemouse’, they might be doing just that. We’ll have to see how it turns out.
