Splatoon’s online services to continue

With the final Splatfest occurring later this month, fans have been wondering what will become of Splatoon’s online services going froward.

According to Kotaku, fans can expect Splatoon’s online experience and services to continue, despite ceasing Splatfest events.

Splatoon has been a massive hit for Nintendo, selling almost 4.5 million units worldwide since it was released in May 2015. This makes Splatoon the sixth-best selling Wii U title, with 1 in 3 Wii U owners having a copy.
