Today’s pic of the day from Masahiro Sakurai’s Director’s Room talks about how to train your amibo. You’ll train it in battle, of course, but you’ll need to feed it equipment to build its stats to their maximum level, Check out the post and follow-up image below – have you started training your amiibo yet?
The effects in red show when a special ability will have a negative impact, but this is not necessarily a bad thing since the equipment might raise your amiibo’s overall stats. It’s also important to note that there’s a limit on how much you can level an amiibo no matter how much you keep feeding it. However, you can change their balance of attack, defense, and speed.
I seem to have hit the cap with my lv50 Pikachu amiibo. I have a combined total of +119 in att/def/spd and 3 positive bonus stats. Mostly trained by pitting it against cpus at 99 lives each and leaving the console on. I am wondering if this differs for other characters/methods of training – can anyone else report in on how their amiibos are in terms of stats?
