Heracles: Chariot Racing is a new WiiWare title by Neko Entertainment. The gameplay is similar to Mario Kart, but the challenging courses are enough to make it it’s own game.
The game has single and multiplayer modes. The single player mode consists of Championship, Single Race and Time Trials. In all three of these modes you choose from 9 characters and race against other characters for the Bronze, Silver or Gold Trophy. While racing, you will have chances to pick up different weapons like fireballs, tridents and lightning to use against your opponents. There are 5 courses in the game, but each Trophy race does make small changes to give you a little surprise. The Bronze and Silver Trophy consists of five races each, while the Gold Trophy has ten. The multiplayer mode has Championship, Single Race and Battle. All three modes can be played with 2-4 players for split-screen excitement.

Ronimo Games (creator of de Blob) was kind enough to send me, via Wii gift, Swords and Soldiers for WiiWare. Swords and Soldiers could be the best game since World of Goo to come to Wiiware. Which honestly isn’t saying too much, but trust me this game is good.
Swords and Soldiers is an RTS type game, where the player has to mine for resources, like gold, and build up your magic bar for special attacks by basically waiting for it to build up. Some of the special attacks you use; shooting lightning from the sky to fry your enemies, using a healing beam to…well heal your units, and a blizzard to freeze your enemies, just to name a few.

PARIS, FRANCE – July 6th, 2009 – Neko Entertainment an independent premier video game developer and publisher announced today the upcoming release of Heracles Chariot Racing on WiiWare™, a racer that will drive players new and old to distraction. Featuring ten circuits in five mythological fantasy settings, players take control of one of eight gods or legendary creatures from Heracles to Poseidon as they race to become Champion Charioteer.
