Our favorite Tasmanian Tiger will continue his modern resurgence when Krome Studios releases TY the Tasmanian Tiger 4: Bush Rescue Returns on September 26th. This follows HD versions of the first two games in the series, also available for the Switch, but makes us wonder what happened to Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan.
Regardless, pre-orders are now open for this latest installment of the beloved platformer series, originally released for Windows PC in 2015. The Switch release offers an enhanced version of the comic-style Aussie hero’s side-scrolling adventures.
Krome Studios is adding full English voiceovers, double the amount of music, remastered animated cutscenes, improved performance, and more.
In addition to all of that, the game’s features will players to:
- Explore 40 levels of adventures in the Australian Outback at 60 FPS.
- Defeat enemies by freezing, zapping, and more with heaps of choice new boomerangs.
- Use their wits and boomerangs to find hidden treasures, help the colorful locals, and uncover the mysteries of the land Down Under.
- Hear new English voice-overs featuring an all-star cast you’ll recognize as TY’s old mates.
